Contractors contemplating bidding on high-rises and residential multifamily projects may have to rethink their pricing if the tariffs President Trump announced on Thursday are actually imposed. These projects are heavy users of steel and aluminum and a threatened 25% tariff on steel imports and a 10% tariff on aluminum could heavily impact the bottom line.
